I'm Deirdre — the heart behind For Always Photography, a proud mom of five, and a devoted grandma to two.

My journey into photography began the way the best things in life do: unexpectedly and beautifully. Photographing the fleeting moments of my first grandchild and youngest son inspired me to trade my career in early childhood education for a camera. I realized that these moments — tiny fingers, first smiles, a family gathered together — are exactly what life is made of. And they pass so quickly.

With patience and compassion shaped by years working with children, I love connecting with kids and adults to create relaxed sessions that feel natural, not posed. Whether you're welcoming a newborn, celebrating an engagement, or just want to capture where your family is right now, I pour my heart into every image.
